About This Course

Course Description:

In this instructor-led, online training course, students will learn the key elements of Microsoft 365 messaging administration, including message transport and mail flow, messaging security, hygiene, and compliance, messaging infrastructure, and hybrid messaging. This course is designed for IT professionals who deploy and manage the messaging infrastructure for Microsoft 365 in their organization.

Pre-requisites

  • None, but it is recommended that students have:
  • Two years of experience administering Windows Server, including Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2016
  • Two years of experience working with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). Two years of experience working with name resolution including Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
  • Understanding of Windows Server 2012 R2 or later, and AD DS, including planning, designing, and deploying
  • Understanding of security concepts such as authentication and authorization

Target Audience

  • This course is meant for messaging administrators who deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot recipients, permissions, mail protection, mail flow, and public folders in both on-premises and cloud enterprise environments.
