Program Description

In this program, students gain the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully program SQL Server. Students will learn requirement gathering, database design, database creation, and maintenance of database objects. Additionally, they’ll become familiar with administrative tasks (such as backups, recoveries, profiling, log shipping, role management, users, logins, and database security).

Program Mission & Objectives

The program is designed for students who have an interest in developing the skills needed to create MS SQL Server applications and databases.
Students will be able to provide back-end development support and solutions, delivering more data to more people across their prospective organization.

At the completion of this program the student are able to:

  • collect business requirements and create a logical data model structure.
  • create and manage database objects utilizing SQL server 2012.
  • extract, manipulate, and analyze data utilizing SQL server 2012.
  • handle database administrative tasks utilizing SQL server 2012.
