Course Description

Develop Adobe Experience Manager Forms is a 2-day, instructor-led classroom or virtual course, where you will learn to customize AEM Adaptive Forms OSGi technology. This course covers developer-specific topics such as customizing XSD schema restrictions, document services, and client libraries, performing functional testing and customizing Form prefill and submission behavior with Form Data Models. You will also learn how to prefill Forms with data, translate a Document of Record, and set up OSGi Forms workflows to assign tasks to a user.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the AEM Forms OSGi technical stack and architecture
  • Customize Form objects and schema restrictions in an XSD Form Model
  • Pre-populate form data using the Prefill service
  • Create a folder structure for static and editable templates, manage template permissions, and create a custom template
  • Customize Form fragments and embed fragments in existing Forms
  • Use AEM Workflow Models and the Assembler Service to create custom documents and automate Document processing tasks
  • Add functionality to Adaptive Forms using Client Libraries
  • Customize and manage the back-end data behavior and processes when a Form is submitted using a Form Data Model
  • Add Functionality to make Forms Adaptive and Dynamic
  • Customize OSGi Form Workflows using OSGI Form submission to assign tasks
