Course Description

This 24-hour course helps you to gain the knowledge to pass the exam based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® 6th Edition. The course covers information on Project Management theory, principles, techniques, and methods.

 

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, you will:

  • Be prepared for the CAPM® examination.
  • Be able to contribute to projects based upon the knowledge related to the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® 6th Edition.

Gain and Maintain Your CAPM

The certification exam has 150 questions, and you have three hours to complete it. To maintain your CAPM, you must retake the exam every five years.

 

Prerequisites

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the exam. PMI’s Project Management Basics online course fulfills this educational prerequisite.
