The course “Git and GitHub Fundamentals” is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts and workflows of using Git for version control and GitHub for collaboration. Through hands-on exercises students will learn how to create a Git repository, make and commit changes, create and merge branches, resolve conflicts, and push changes to a remote repository on GitHub. They will also learn how to collaborate with others on a project, including how to fork, clone, and submit pull requests. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in Git and GitHub that will enable them to manage and collaborate on code projects effectively.
